You have to believe that there is no bad child in the world. All children are great and have their own characteristic. If many parents keep complaining, it must be about their behavior and not about their potential and interest. Behavior has relationship with attitude. So, the bad ones have to be changed into the positive ones. This needs to be discussed since many parents believe if they say no, the kids will stop their bad behavior. But the problem is not that simple. You need to make the kids understand things before making a change in how they react.

You have to explain them that you have unconditional love for them and it makes their bad behavior have to be punished. In addition, you have to keep learning the way to handle and communicate with the kids. Improper knowledge about kids’ home education will often make you get angry or stress since you do not know the techniques to be applied. At first, you have to control your words and reactions. In case you have promised to them, you have to keep it although it is a simple thing. So, your kids will know that you are always serious in everything you say. You are the figure of your kids, so you have to perform pretty well in front of you kids. It is totally unfair if you punish your kids due to their bad behavior but you cannot behave well.

Never use the word “no” many times. That will be useless if you say no and expect your kids to change their behavior. You are recommended to use firm tone in speaking to the kids. They will listen more to you. It is also possible to avoid your kids from behaving improperly. When you go out with your kids, you will see many incidents. If there is the bad one, explain and discuss with the kids about that. There is chance for your kids to understand it and never do that bad behavior. Moreover, you can also discuss the rules which will be applied with your spouse and the kids at home. Explain the reason why you have to apply that. By doing these, your kids will think twice before doing something bad.

If you live with some children in your home, you will feel so happy and perhaps so stressful at the same time. They can be so cute and act like angels. But a minute later, they can turn to be the devils which will ruin every plan and setting you have made before. Automatically, you have to maintain your positive behavior in front of your kids. It is forbidden for you to be angry by screaming, shouting, slapping, etc. Your anger should be shown in positive ways and have educational sense. Some parents tend to repeat the word “no” when they see the kids doing or touching something. It is right that kids have to be protected from any items which will harm them. And you are forbidden to label your kids badly.

What parents need to do is supporting the kids to always behave in proper manner. Make sure you do not expect too much from the kids. Your kids may achieve many things better than other people’s. But they cannot do other things better. So, you have to be realistic in encouraging them to continue the good work. Your sentences will function as encouragement tool for the kids to keep repeating the good behavior. Sometimes, you need to give appropriate praise. It will be so lovely to receive any praise especially from their parents. You will feel the same as them when you do something good in your office. So, praise should not be too hard for your kids to achieve.

When your kids do a mistake from your point of view, stay calm and think the better way to “punish” them. It should be suitable with the mistake they have done. Perhaps they do not want to arrange their toys back after playing. In this case, if you are not supposed to pick their messy toys and arrange them properly. Your kids will never put back their toys since they realize you will do that. Or, if you do not want to pick their toys back, the kids can lose respect for you. An idea to solve this problem is making sure you will not allow the kids to so anything until the toys are picked up and put away properly. As parents, you should never think this is too cruel to be applied to the kids. The reason is your kids have to understand that some things have to be done before others. No complain will make the work runs smoothly.
